I’m sitting on the floor next to the washing machine. I’m hiding from my daughter. Her favorite therapist is here but my newly turnable daughter is being silly and ignoring her by turning and looking at me. When I went to check on the laundry a minute ago, Munchkin was doing really well playing with “L” so I decided to come hang out over here. I can peek around the corner and enjoy the show and she doesn’t know I’m here. Any other therapist I wouldn’t leave the room, but “L” is awesome and Munchkin loves her so I decided to take a break and blog. ;)

I read a book this week:

I had ordered it from the library when the whole thing with the FLDS went down a few months ago and my name finally came up on Wednesday. I finished it in a little under 24 hours. I just couldn’t put it down!

With books like this, I tend to ignore at minimum 50% of what’s in an autobiography because it tends to be pretty biased, but even if you ignore half of it, there is still a lot there to think about. I was impressed with how to the point it was.

“Escape” is not a book I plan to read again, but it was definitely worth the time. I have a two week loan on it, but since I’m already done I’m going to take it back so the next person on the waitlist can have it.

When i picked up the book, I also borrowed T*A*P*S*:

I’m not too sure what I think about the movie yet. It had really good camera work and great acting, but it was a little bizarre and a bit heavy on the language but not a complete and total waste of time. It was kind of fun to see a very young Tom Cruise playing one of the main characters though…

  1. Is that Tom Cruise in T*A*P*S????
Loved a Few Good Men but that too was heavy on the language.

Don’t you love when the books you want finally come in and they were well worth the wait?
